How We Operate
Most people who show up after a disaster need something. We show up bringing it: power, connectivity, transportation, lodging, comms, and the PPE to stand on a working site. We plug into the incident, work to the objective, and deliver while the need is still live.
Generator power, satellite connectivity, trucks, a side-by-side, berthing, and food for the crew. When the grid is down and the towers are gone, we still operate. We are not another draw on the command post. We are a deployment capability that adds to the response instead of consuming it.
Abroad, we deploy with a host on the ground to handle access and logistics. Give us a point of contact and we will get there. The work in Haiti and Japan was run this way. The standard does not change with the time zone.
We work the incident on its own clock. We understand the Operational Period Briefing and the Incident Action Plan, so we build to the objective the command staff already set, not a separate agenda. We integrate with the plan instead of working around it.
